Forums are intended for discussion, not for long-term documentation. I believe you now see my point regarding their impermanent nature. Forums should not serve as a permanent source of truth. However, they can play a valuable role within the broader documentation model I previously proposed. Productive discussions often lead to actionable insights or resolutions, which should then be captured in the official documentation or formalised as GitHub issues or requests.

4. Interlinking Strategy
- Forum threads that expose systemic issues → turned into GitHub issues
- GitHub resolutions or feature completions → summarized and linked in forum and docs
- Forums can include pinned posts linking to documentation and how to file issues
- Docs link only to homepage, keeping footers decluttered as per Graham’s point
5. Community Workflow Summary (Realistic)
User has problem
↓
Checks ReadTheDocs or search on forums
↓
If unclear, posts question on forums
↓
If bug confirmed, developer or moderator creates GitHub issue
↓
Fix issued → Summary added in forums → Docs updated if necessary
