ifconfig: wlandev: bad value

Hello. I'm a Linux user trying out BSD for the first time, and I'm trying to set up wi-fi. Upon running ifconfig wlan0 create wlandev rtw880 as root (where rtw880 is my built-in card), I get the following error:
ifconfig: wlandev: bad value

Any help as to what could be causing this would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. That particular thread didn't solve my issue, but I'd be surprised if there's not a FreeBSD forum article covering it.

I wasn't too keen on their cookie policy (sharing data with FB, YT, etc. with no way to decline from the website-level: I got into FOSS OSes for privacy), which is one of the things the drew me to GhostBSD over vanilla FreeBSD. Nevertheless, I'll block at the browser level and do some digging this weekend. Will update when I find a solution.
