Live ISO, full pathname. Why?

After copying the 25.02 official ISO ramdisk. It is waiting with this request:
"Enter full pathname of shell or RETURN for /rescue/sh"
Here the boot does not continue.
Both in UEFI and Legacy BIOS mode.

You probably don’t have enough memory to boot the ISO.

8 GB is the current requirement.

My test machine only has 4GB of memory.
So the problem is understandable.

miki I had the same experience on one of my older test machines yesterday. 🙂

Based on testing in Virtual Box you should be able to function with as little as 5 GB.

Probably equal cost/effort to go up to 8 GB. Your local used market place is a great option. I’ve gotten entire machines for less than the cost of RAM upgrades.
