Updating Linux/Brave

I know that the Brave Browser is running in a chhroot Linux environment. Now I wonder if there is a way to update the chroot and the browser. In Linux Brave is running version 181 (Chromium 139) and here I have version 175 (Chromiumm 133). In GhostBSD Brave is really outdated. I know that currently is less time for so minor issues because of the GhostBSD upgrade some days ago.
So, I would like to update the Linux chroot myself, if possible. I only use the Brave browser for Netflix etc. but on my other machines Brave is my default browser.

There one can update the whole chroot and browser itself. I don't know if this works in GhostBSD.

Lack of timely updates to Brave is the reason I ended up using ungoogled-chromium. The only drawback for some people is that "as-is," YouTube doesn't work.

Robin I only use Brave on GhostBSD for watching drm streams like Netflix etc. Currently I am reading and searching for a solution. But if I do not find one, I have to wait till an update of Brave here.

I installed the ports from GhostBSD and the dev tools. In a few minutes I could built the Widevine package for Chromium. Now I can watch Netflix with Chromium without the need of the Linux environment and the Linux Brave browser. It works fine.

... and after some reading in the FreeBSD forum, I got Widevine also working in Ungoogled-Chromium. So, UC is again my default browser.
