A hosts file is just a downloadable text file that blocks IP addresses. A good explanation of it can be found here, and the author's hosts file is the one I use. You can downloaded, open your file manager as root, navigate to /etc/hostsfile. Open the downloaded hosts file (as text) into the existing hosts file.
