To clarify, my point is that search functionality is not the critical issue here. I’m suggesting that we treat the forums primarily as a collaborative workspace to support users, not as the definitive source of truth. Once solutions are discussed and refined through the forum, they should be formalized and added to the official GhostBSD documentation on ReadTheDocs.
ReadTheDocs, unlike forums or wikis, is indexed more effectively by search engines and large language models, making it the ideal location for curated, high-quality answers. This ensures the most accurate information is easily discoverable.
Historically, the wiki and forums have accumulated content that often becomes outdated. What may have been the correct solution years ago can quickly become obsolete, which leads to confusion; especially for newcomers. Centralizing authoritative documentation helps avoid this problem.
