The first mistake is relying on a deprecated wiki page. ;-)
To check which version of GhostBSD you're running, use the following command:
cat /etc/os-release
This command, while originally a Linux convention, is supported on GhostBSD and can be especially helpful for users transitioning from Linux.
You can use this command which is similar to the one from the deprecated wiki entry:
sudo pkg info GhostBSD-runtime | grep Version
