Hi all,
I’ve recently switched to GhostBSD on my laptop (a 2019 Lenovo ThinkPad) and I’m loving the overall experience so far. However, I’m running into a few hiccups related to performance and power management, especially when it comes to battery life and occasional system freezes.
The laptop runs normally most of the time, but it seems like when in battery mode, the system hinders slightly slower than in charging mode. Second, the trackpad gestures no longer work smoothly as they did on my prior OS. I've done a little research on how to optimize FreeBSD-based systems for use in laptops, but I'd like to inquire if anyone has any particular advice or tweaks to get the best performance and battery life out of GhostBSD in a laptop?
I came across this website:https://forums.ghostbsd.org/d/187-uefi-what-is-chatgpt-bios-was-reset-and-ghostbsd-boot-option-is-gone-help/2 and need some help
And is there a suggested method to update system drivers for optimal compatibility, especially for ThinkPad systems?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
