I'm a brand new ghostbsd user (just installed 25.01 tonight), and one of the first things I tried was tailscale. I installed it via the software station.
I ran sudo tailscaled
to start the daemon from the terminal, and from another terminal ran sudo tailscale up
, which gives you a link to click on to open a browser and sign in to your tailscale account and register the machine. After that point, it seems to have connected, my machine shows up in my tailnet, identified as running FreeBSD (see image).
I can ping other machines on my tailnet from my ghostbsd machine, so, at least a basic level, it seems to be working.
