What can be done to better engage with the GhostBSD community and improve our support resources?
Ideas for Strengthening GhostBSD’s Community and Support
Regarding support, it would be nice if https://ghostbsd-documentation-portal.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ was updated with the latest knowledge within GhostBSD. It is missing if we are going to have new users. I am missing it as a new user of GhostBSD. I am not so good at English that I want to write something on the Wiki, and I don't have enough knowledge about GhostBSD yet. But later I would like to translate the Wiki into Danish.
I’m going to second the documentation being updated with released changes. Example installer steps/features (like host name, root password) aren’t in alignment with current system experience.
This could be a low risk new contributor testing level / introductory developer work to ensure documentation aligns with the experiences.

Oh oh oh!!!
Best of applications a curated list of not 30000 applications but perhaps the GhostBSD 100 best tried and true. The top 1% if you will.
Application Suites/Profiles:
If you’re a developer check these 10 tools
If you’re an business analyst check these 10 tools
If you’re a student check these 10 tools
If you’re a tradesperson check these 10 tools
If you’re coming from Windows/Mac…
If you’re an entertainment user…
If you’re a social media pro…
We don’t need to install all the apps in a given profile but giving them a short check box list to apply all or a portion of a profile of apps.
Profiling our community and aligning identifying with the different types could help GhostBSD better fit users trying out or coming to GhostBSD.
I assume leveraging packages for this type of thing.

I'm a student
so most of my software choices have to do with writing term papers (one of my teachers insists on what she calls "Microsoft format" in our term papers - she must be on their payroll or something), and I use LibreOffice for all of that. I'm not familiar with TeXLive at all. Is it similar to LibreOffice?
I also have Xournalapp installed for taking notes during class, and it's a nice PDF editor too. GIMP is kinda okay, but the UI is bewildering. I use Inkscape for most of my graphics work and then copy it over to LibreOffice.
I find Evolution much more reliable than Thunderbird for calander and contacts as well as email.
Jus' say'n.

Any new ideas?
