1. Major linux distro hopper.
2. Tried BSD's in the past on a gateway laptop.
3. Saw some great reviews for the newer versions.
4. Researched and saw possible conflict for wireless card.
5. Before putting in a good bit of time making it work I thought I would just ask if it will?
Wireless card is a Broadcom BCM 4318
According to my reading this install should be as it is in linux distros.
First install the firmware then the driver?
Broadcom BCM 4318
Re: Broadcom BCM 4318
GhostBSD have the drivers already install with the firmware, i am not sure that BCM 4318 is supported.
Re: Broadcom BCM 4318
Thanks! I did read that and it appears my device is not supported... Hmmm. Now what to do?
Re: Broadcom BCM 4318
You would have a better answer with FreeBSD, I do not deal with kernel driver in GhostBSD.
