My other distro of choice is Devuan.
The installation I use is "netinstall". The cd is 227MB.
After installing the base core packages comes the rest of the software.
You can choose DEs or nothing.
KDE
Gnome
MATE
LXDE
Or choose none, reboot and update/upgrade and start installing xorg, wm, etc
So, you can install a desktop environment of your choice, or reboot and install the window manager of your choice; all for <300 MB.
I thought this is something to think about...

Indeed, this something we already considered sometimes ago (a single DVD w/multiple DEs), but there is to say that one point of GhostBSD is about providing a "live" session, (without install) and that is tied to a specific DE.macondo wrote:I thought this is something to think about...
