Update FreeBSD base on GhostBSD 4

I recently installed GhostBSD 4.0 and ran freebsd-update following the install to check/update the FreeBSD base.
I received a message that FreeBSD 10.0 was nearing EOL and I should upgrade to 10.1.

Is it recommended to upgrade the FreeBSD base to 10.1 with GhostBSD 4?

If so, are there any special steps or just use
freebsd-update fetch install ?
