Syth problem

Post by ericbsd »

The support of new ports system was not in synth and I emailed Marino about it and now synth supports it, but it is buggy and I might move the builder to Poudrier after more discussion with Kris Synth was not the best idea we will always fall into a problem. To be honest I do not feel, encourage to use synth anymore after everything I have learned last Friday and might not move to Raven Ports.

I think I will stick to what Joe and I originally planned. GhostBSD = TrueOS Core and TrueOS ports.

I'm also a heavy Synth user and I've continued to use it on all of my machines (both GhostBSD and FreeBSD). With version 2.x it works well so far. What issues did you have that cannot be fixed? And what is the problem with Ravenports (that I put a lot of hope into)?

So we are still using Synth for 11 and I set up a TrueOS server with Synth for GhostBSD 18. So far so good.
