I installed Virtualbox on GhostBSD,
did all configurations as described on the FreeBSD Handbook, set the groups ...
Installed also virtualbox-additions on the guest.
All works fine until I set the hook on the optical device for the Host DVD.
On a running guest the guest crashes immediately after setting the hook.
If I change the settings on the mass storage menu before starting the guest, the guest crashes immediately after pressing the start bottom.
If I delete the DVD-mass storage setting, the guest starts again.
Is this a bug on virtualbox or did I miss something?

Re: Virtualbox on GhostBSD crash dvd pathtrough
I think I have an explanation but no solution yet: "but if you import a virtual machine from another virtualization product, the OS in that machine may expect a particular controller type and crash if it is not found." https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch05. ... ontrollers
And I have imported this machine from a Linux host.
