Linphone broken - fix available

Post by nevets »

Hi,
I emailed the linphone port maintainer as I can't get the app to authenticate my login.
He kindly replied...
The solution is to upgrade linphone, latest version in ports is 5.0.14
> linphone-4.4.8_2,1
> liblinphone-5.1.56_1
> belle-sip-5.1.32_1
The whole stack was updated, but linphone last. Seems it didn't arrive
in your pkg repo yet.
I tried making the this port version but after 20 errors the process quit.
Not my area of expertise.
Are you able to make the port for the repository pkg binaries please?
Thanks.

============Update=========
Maintainer adds...
... the linphone update was committed on March 23rd,
roughly a week after some libraries (like e.g. belle-sip) were updated.
It took this time to verify the new version works correctly, and
unfortunately, it seems the latest package build picked up this
inconsistent state with newer libraries, but still older linphone.
TL;DR: Will be solved in FreeBSD's pkg repository in probably a few
days
