Superfluous pkg

Hi,
I noticed that pkg upgrades add the pkg kf5-kdoctools
Yet pkg autoremove indicates it's superfluous.

Seems odd...

Is that on a fresh installation?

Nope - just update station or pkg upgrade on a prior install.
I've seen this with docbook pkgs too in the past on this install.

That is probably some package that was used by other packages the Update Station does not do autoremove yet.

Hi Eric, Merry Christmas :D

Looks like a zombie pkg...
I just updated and the latest build installs
[86/86] Installing kf5-kdoctools-5.89.0...
[86/86] Extracting kf5-kdoctools-5.89.0: 100%
And, when we check for autoremove...
# sudo pkg autoremove
Checking integrity... done (0 conflicting)
Deinstallation has been requested for the following 1 packages:
Installed packages to be REMOVED:
kf5-kdoctools: 5.89.0
No idea why the kf5-kdoctools keeps wanting to be installed

OK,
Screen shots Just to show that the upgrade process forces the installation of new pkg kf5-kdoctools that afterwards autoremove finds unwarranted.

The remove

So, why doesn't pkg deem this resource required?
Does it have something to do with pkg having docs set true?

That is weird. I do not have that problem with my test system.

It could have something to do with pkg having docs set true, but I am not 100% sure.
