PKG Mirror Locations

Post by thorjeus »

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade my ghostbsd, but the speed is quite slow. Does anyone can inform me the closest mirror location in Asia, my location is in Singapore.

Thanks & Regards.

I'm in Europe. So, how do I tell the system I want to use the server in France?
Which file I have to change?

Thanks and regards

Change the URL in /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/GhostBSD.conf

Thank you. I should put this into the wiki, so everyone can use it.

/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos

At /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos I see the three region-oriented .conf files.

Each one has yes in its enabled line, but I see none of the three URLs in response to this command:

pkg -vv | grep -e url -e enabled

How would a person make one of these effective?
