Hyperactive trackpad

Post by warraghiyagey »

Hi. I installed GhostBSD (my first serious attempt to learn BSD) on an old MacBook Air 2015. Other than the Broadcom drivers not loading (not a huge deal because most OS's I tried couldn't load them either and I have a USB WiFi adapter), my main incident has been my trackpad has been hyperactive, as in insane. If I mouse over a link, before I can even click it, it opens numerous other browser tabs. In the Live Disc, when I clicked the tray icon for the WiFi, it closed the network manager. I try to use the keyboard as much as possible because if I use the trackpad to open an application, I have no idea what application will end up opening. With a regular mouse, it works great. Is this a known issue? I looked a little on the FreeBSD forums but didn't see anything that matched this.

Welcome to GhostBSD! Sorry about the trouble you're having.

Please have a look on the above link. You may be able to adjust the sensitivity.

Also please post the output of the command

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
