Hi Folks,

I have a X200 Laptop that is dieing. its served me well but it will no longer charge a battery (not quite so old X201 standing in as charger donner at the moment). It won't run of mains either.

Anyway, thinking of getting another Lenovo, X230 this time. Is there a way to transfer everythig, lock stock and barrel over to the 'new' machine?
The X200 has a SSD fitted at the moment which will be transferred into the new machine but guess it won't just work?

How best to do the swap?

Please do not get unhappy when FreeBSD doesn't work well. I have a Legion Y545 and it doesn't support all the things ;/

Tried a few other things. back on Ghost with an X201, so far so good (except USB drives - see elsewhere)
