I installed GhostBSD and have an NVidia GTX 750ti, which can use the latest drivers.

I used the package manager to install nvidia. Then what do I do? I don't have an(sic) AGP card. Do I have to do all the steps in the "Note" section?

I have tried to like BSD for decades, but it always is too difficult to implement. I tried GhostBSD and PC-BSD (now the Trident Project going to Linux) and still have had problems. I detest systemd and would like to use something different.

Actually the only part you might need to do is to make your xorg.conf, you can use nvidia-xconfig.
