"Network Card Not Active"

Post by Hagg »

..or some such, every time I attempt installing GhostBSD. I suspect my hardware is not supported, an intel network card (quite common). Does GhostBSD intend to support newer hardware at some point? I like the looks of the distro, but I do not have an old computer. Otherwise, are there work arounds?

My network hardware info:

Device-1: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 driver: iwlwifi v: kernel modules: wl port: 4000
bus-ID: 00:14.3 chip-ID: 8086:a0f0 class-ID: 0280
IF: wlan0 state: up mac: <filter>
Device-2: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
vendor: Acer Incorporated ALI driver: r8169 v: kernel port: 3000 bus-ID: 02:00.0
chip-ID: 10ec:8168 class-ID: 0200
