hey - new here and have a few intro questions for neophytes

Post by thinkpadx »

i have been interested in freebsd for years but know notta technically. I noticed ghostbsd mught be the nost logical possibility. ran linux for 15 yrs but not a command line guy and also not a techie geek though i like to think myself a bit geeky. also 70 yrs old. so an old codger as they say. so i am wondering about making a jump from linux to ghostbsd. i use laptops. sorry for the vzugeuness in advance; but i am just wondering about the possibuility? not interested in mate but xfce is OK. like 'e' or moksha too.

many thanks in advance

Support for laptops has been improving over time. If you want to try XFCE on GhostBSD, then I'd suggesting trying a development iso:
