Hi Neville

Set both nid 17 & 18 to 1 gets me no sound at all.
The above setting gets me just headphones and trying nid16 & 17 both set to 1 only gets me speaker sound.
Couldn t find a way to switch automatically between speaker and plugged in headphones. 😕
Will try again next weekend.

Best
Achim

Hi Neville

nope, no sound again, back to nid 17 on 2 and nid 18 on1 at least for solely headphones!
maybe one day GhostBSD 11 will know how to switch that plug....

cheers

hey, Achim.
What about trying nid 16 and nid 17?
i.e.

hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid16.config="as=1"
hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid17.config="as=1 seq=15"

See if this helps.

Good luck.

Hey Neville

unbelievable, THAT was the one. was completely confused about all the nids and sequences, but that one worked!
Thx a lot mate! :D
Should have been obvious with 16 "speakers" and 17 "headphones", why was I fixed on nid18 anyway?

cheers
Achim
