Achim what are the outputs of these two commands: Do they show a wlan device on the PCI bus or wlan device plugged into a USB bus? 1) Atheros attempts completely failed, wasn t even able to create the wlan0 interface with "ifconfig wlan0 create wlandev ath0... "(always said: "bad value" when I entered that command), no wlan0 was detected afterwards, so no scan possible and no 'wpa_supplicant' file as well!
