gqrx

Post by pdu471 »

I'm new to ghostbsd but have used pcbsd and trueos. Love ghost so far but miss gqrx which worked well on trueos and is listed in freshports. Any suggestions?

Within OctoPkg is a package gqradio. Is this the same?

No, thanks for asking.I think gqradio merely controls a radio card. gqrx is a software defined radio, (SDR). I enabled freebsd repo and installed it but for some reason OctoPkg uninstalled libreoffice. So before I messed things up too much I went back to the way it was before.

Ok, tried the port. It failed, stop in gnuradio.

Maybe gnuradio is a dependency. When it stopped did you try to install it? Try running:

pkg ins gnuradio

Then continue with

make install clean

Hope this helps

Yes gnuradio is a dependency. Tried pkg ins gnuradio, wants to uninstall libreoffice. I think I'll have to let it go for now but thanks a lot.

That strange. It should not happen. Maybe you could try on FreeBSD and see what happens.

There is probably a conflict! Can you give me the output error when trying to build the ports of gqrx?
