I have carried out a search but have drawn a bit of a blank, so could anybody point me in the right direction.
What is the best program for formatting a 32Gb SD card to fat file system?
What is the best program to covert cd's to mp3? CD2MP3?
Thanks
Ken

About formatting the sd card there is this https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/how- ... ard.42953/
from the FreeBSD forums. It will work on GhostBSD.

To convert a CD to mp3 is quite easy.
Install the `asunder` cd ripping program.
Then start it and go to Preferences > Encode and tick the MP3 box. If there are any other encodes already ticked, untick them so only mp3 is chosen.

My blu-ray drive is /dev/cd0. However, the default in asunder is /dev/cdrom. You may need to change this.
Put your cd in and start ripping.

Just an update.
I installed Asunder but it would not find my CD player.
Found and installed Audex this works fine.
With the formatting link and Audex I am now busy filling my SD card with music.

Good to hear.
I've never heard of Audex. I'll give it a try.
It's strange your drive wasn't picked up. I've never had that trouble. I always change have to change the drive in Preferences > General > CD-ROM device from /dev/cdrom to /dev/cd0 and my drive is recognised. Sometimes this happens.
