GhostBSD-21.09.06.iso fails to support 'au.kbd'

Post by nevets »

Have just tried installing latest version of Ghost.
There's an issue when the system starts following installation.
Configuring vt: keymap blanktime
WARNING:
No replacement found for keymap 'au.kbd'
MATE fails to start leaving me at terminal prompt.
If I logon as root I can start lightdm and MATE comes up and works fine.

Just need a fix for the keyboard issue at startup please.

Thanks,
Steve

==================================
update
I found that in
/etc/rc.conf
The GhostBSD installer had written
lightdm_enable="NO"
which I altered to YES
and,
keymap="au.kbd"
which I rem'd-out.

This solved to mal-installed GhostBSD-21.09.06.
The GhostBSD installer ought to ignore Australian keyboard choice it seems, chosen during the installation setup. :)
