Crappy amd ahci - install to hd problem

Hello
This is really great work you guys! But cannot install to the hd cause of amd ahci : CAM STATUS error. I need to edit /boot/device.hints and add some lines in order to stop this error and install. I cannot do this as this is an ISO format and cannot edit anything. Any thoughts on this?
