efi partition size on install

Post by ouaille_aime_scier_ »

Hello dear friends :-)

Is it normal that with manual disk partitioning, if I set uefi partition size to 512 MB the installer limits it to default size of 100 MB ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Ok ericbsd, in this case, it is useless to propose a manual partitioning and as much to inform the user that the uefi partition is dimensioned by default.

Yes, you are right I have not changed it, I was supposed to change that part in the backend I did not yet, probably a good idea to make it default to 100.

if possible better to expect a size of at least 256 MB for the UEFI partition, I had a problem when I installed OpenSuse in dual boot, the installer shouted at me because of the size of the dedicated partition to /boot/efi :-)
