During installation: PT of second HDD is not detected.

Post by rowo »

I tried to install GhostBSD 11.1 from the XFCE live image and wanted to use my second HDD ada1. There is a DOS PT containing already 3 Linux ext4 partitions, but this PT is not detected by the installer. I only have the option to create a new PT when trying to access this drive. This was NOT the case during a former installation, there all partitions where detected correctly. Strange enough, I see the partitions using fdisk in a terminal. Can I somehow force the installer to detect the PT and partitions on this drive?

Here you can see what the installer shows. I can only create a new PT.

But the DOS PT and 3 Linux partitions do exist, as shown by fdisk.

look like a bug can you run

Code: Select all

sudo gbi
The output would help me if there is a problem. It is the time I see that.
