No audio CD

Post by fpohllp »

Hi,I have a problem with audio CD.
I have installed the latest version of Ghost and I have a problem with audio CDs. When I insert the CD, no icon appears on the Desktop.
Ripper CDs there is no problem, if I want to listen to the audio no program reads the CD.
If I listen to mp3 or see videos on youtube the audio works.
My /var/log/automount.log is :

2022-02-26 12:34:58 /dev/cd0: detach

cdcontrol is

cdcontrol> play
cdcontrol> Status
Audio status = 0<invalid>, current track = 27, current position = 3:49.19
Media catalog is inactive
Left volume = 255, right volume = 255

/etc/fstab i have

# Device Mountpoint FStype Options Dump Pass
/dev/label/swap0 none swap sw 0 0
procfs /proc procfs rw 0 0
linprocfs /compat/linux/proc linprocfs rw 0 0
tmpfs /compat/linux/dev/shm tmpfs rw,mode=1777 0 0
linsysfs /compat/linux/sys linsysfs rw 0 0
fdesc /dev/fd fdescfs rw 0 0

I see it tells me filesystem not supported or no filesystem, in / boot / kernel I have cd9660.ko and cd9660_iconv.ko but I can't figure out what options it takes in, I think, in fstab.
Any suggestions?

Hi Flavio. You don't need to mount CDs to play them. Just put the CD in the drive and play it with vlc
