Code: Select all
~> gpart show
=> 40 234441568 ada1 GPT (112G)
40 532480 1 efi (260M)
532520 228993024 2 freebsd-zfs (109G)
229525544 4904960 3 freebsd-swap (2.3G)
234430504 11104 - free - (5.4M)
=> 40 312581728 ada0 GPT (149G)
40 312581728 1 freebsd-ufs (149G)
I have 1 SSD where GhostBSD is installed and one spinning HDD where I store my data. This spinning HDD used to be EXT4 but later I changed it to UFS. When I boot GhostBSD I see an icon on my desktop named ada0p1. When I click on it I can access all my data but I can't create any new files.
Then when I do
Code: Select all
sudo chown -R home:home /media/ada0p1/
I get back write permissions
but problem is after I reboot the partition becomes read only again.
How can I fix this ?

Oh and does vfs.usermount=1 is in your /etc/sysctl.conf?

Code: Select all
tunefs -p /dev/ada0p1
freebsd-version -kru ; uname -aKU
What's reported?
