Debian fails to boot in a GhostBSD/Debian dual boot setup

Post by security_lover »

Debian was already installed. I used Gparted to shrink Debian's / partition then installed GhostBSD.
GhostBSD's rEFInd detected the presence of Debian & added it to the boot menu.

Problem is when I select Debian from the rEFInd boot menu it fails to boot. It says :

Code: Select all

modprobe: module dm-raid 45 not found in module.dep

You are running in emergency mode

Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked
Is there a way to fix this without messing up my GhostBSD install ?

I am fully satisfied with GhostBSD. I need Debian for one reason only & that is bluetooth support.
I am paranoid about security !

I am managing the situation by using a Live environment of Linux coz I haven't yet found a way to connect my bluetooth headphone under GhostBSD.
Since security is primary to me I will be using BSD despite this situation.
