It took me a while to figure what was wrong, but I finally found why this problem occured, I created those pkg's and the system does not recognise those pkg's as the official FreeBSD pkgng repos. By forcing pkgng to update the repos list it fixes the problem.

Thanks Eric, that did it for me too.
Pysolfc now installed and set up how I like it, ready for me to waste more time playing Shisen Sho.
Will now investigate the programs on the menus, & let you know if I find anything else.
