It's unfortunate that by following these instructions I damaged the system.
Perhaps you could change the FAQ to tell users they MUST use the GUI menu to update the system and also put a danger warning there NOT to update the system via the terminal as that will break the system.
Fortunately I managed to get my data off the system using RC interactively...
Anyways thanks for creating GhostBSD Eric.
It really helped me on my way to understanding and switching to FreeBSD
