Telegram will only launch once after fresh install

Telegram will only launch once after fresh install

After a fresh install of the xfce edition, I can only run telegram once. First time it launches correctly, asks for my mobile number and sends me a code. After typing the code, I can see all my channels (including the GhostBSD one). However, if I quit (logoff, restart of my laptop) and restart the application, it hangs. The only way to get it started, is to wipe the directory .local/share/TelegramDesktop completely. I then have to start all over again (mobile number, code ...).
