I just installed GhostBSD yesterday and I'm wanting to install a Linux program; Firestorm viewer. It comes in tar.xz file. I know how to extract it, but I just don't know the proper commands to install it. It has a file named install.sh. I'm familar with LInux, but BSD is new to me. I'm also use the Fish shell if that make a difference or not. If it's not possible to install I would like to learn how to make a .pkg file or I would like to see it in the Ports collection in the future.

The Firestorm viewer is not in the ports collection. If you like to get this application in the ports collection, I would recommend to look in FreeBSD Porter's Handbook https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO88 ... -handbook/. There are some interesting tips.

Or you can read this https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/how- ... rce.52077/.
I hope it gets you further.

To install Linux packages: Chapter 10. Linux® Binary Compatibility https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO88 ... uxemu.html
