automount question

Post by A-dog »

When I boot into GhostBSD the desktop will automount my windows directory twice and also some errors with hal. So I will get scsi meta-data and meta-data.

The error with hal is [Cannot mount volume
Error org.freedesktop.HalDevice.UnknownError]

Also the scsi meta-data drives cannot be opened. The meta-data drive or partitions are what they are, open just fine.
Do you know how to fix it?

I do not remember if Gnome policy kit install, if it is install you should see in System>Preference>Authorizations there you can make change.

Go to org>freedesktop>hal>storage.

You it might be something in there.

I have to stop to be always in root to do a better user land for GHostBSD.

I take it as a bad sign that noone is replying on such simple questions, hence the community might not be that big.
