Under Freebsd/GhostBSD most users use 'dd' command . I don't know of a gui tool running under BSD
rufus.ie Rufus tool for writing images in Windows
etcher.io Balena Etcher tool works under Linux and Windows
Will keep looking for better answer.for GUI tools under BSD

Under GNU/Linux I use gnome MultiWriter (with which I made the live usb stick with GhostBSD and then installed it on my second-hand Thinkpad) or Fedora Media Writer.
Now I use GhostBSD nearly everyday. It covers all my computer needs.
But I also want a GUI usb image writer.
I'm sure one will appear in the software station soon.
It doesn't matter.
I love GhostBSD anyway, and I'm patient.

Never used it myself.Unetbootin has been around longer than GNOME Multiwriter and Etcher; it’s a widely used and acclaimed bootable live USB creator on Linux that is also cross platform with support for a wide variety of ISO images....
