Today I downloaded and rrn the latest ghostbsd build in 2 methods ;
When I booted from a flash drive recorded with rufus - it came to the moment visible in the attached photo and then the laptop restarts .
When I wanted to run the latest ghostbsd build from a flash drive with the VENTOY program -
- There was also this moment visible in the photo and it stood for a very long time .
Problem with running the newest ghostbsd from pendrive
Re: Problem with running the newest ghostbsd from pendrive
Hello, take a CD ROM instead.
Re: Problem with running the newest ghostbsd from pendrive
Remember, with a soft-rolling BSD distribution, using the latest available ISO is important. That said, the simplest and perhaps quickest solution is to spend money for a 4GiB USB flash drive (pendrive). Installing the latest available GhostBSD ISO file to a dedicated USB flash drive for GhostBSD will allow for an optimal installation experience.
Re: Problem with running the newest ghostbsd from pendrive
My laptop is a 2 years old . Havent a dvd-rom
I have a 3 pendrive ; 16 , 32 and 64 GB
From each of them I tried to run live Ghostbsd in the official version from June this year and the latest version. It always throws some bugs .
I am writing this post from KALI Linux
Running this Linux live directly from the iso file via the ventoy program did not cause any problem. Its installer looks like the debian installer.

Re: Problem with running the newest ghostbsd from pendrive
My suggestion is to not use Ventoy when installing GhostBSD.
Here are my recommended steps:
(1) Clear the partitions and data from your pendrive.
(2) Use the dd command to install the GhostBSD ISO to the pendrive.
(3) Restart your computer and enter BIOS.
(4) Select the option to boot the pendrive and select F10 when complete.
(5) When the system reboots, the system should boot from your pendrive.
Let us know whether this procedure works in your situation.
