Too tired after my ride today to concerntrate on the install process, so I've just had a quick look at the Openbox setup.
I like it, it's really nice, more my kind of setup.
So, I'll have a good night's sleep & run the installer tomorrow.

Re: GhostBSD 3.5-BETA2 is now available!
Eric, I am going cycling this morning so will not get around to re trying until later today. From what you say, it looks like I have mis undestood part of your installer, so that is what I shall try & get to grips with when I get back home. (Once I have it sorted out in my mind, I will try to wr...

Downloaded & MD5 checked GhostBSD3.5 .img files 32bit xfce & lxde + 64bit xfce & lxde Ran 32bit xfce live - wifi auto config was good, but I had to run 'service netif start' as root to get it working. Retried installing 32bit xfce Trying Custom Partitioning - P1 = 10,000MB P2 = 150,000MB...

Re: GhostBSD 3.5-BETA2 is now available!
I tried both versions today, live was OK, but when I tried installing it quit after the partitioning stage.
I can't remember quite what, but I will take another go at installing both again & make notes.
I will get back to you.
(I was busy swapping all my hard drives over today.)

Re: GhostBSD 3.5-BETA2 is now available!
Beta2 32bit & 64bit run live OK, but still seems to be trouble with the installation script.

Re: Can not start startx live dvd 3.5.1
I totally agree; an Alpha is a first try & a Beta the second, they are for people willing to find bugs to be sorted out before a RC (Release Candidate). If you don't want any hassel, either use a 'final' release, or an older release. This will be good judging by the 32bit Beta1 release, which is...

Re: GhostBSD 3.5 feedback
Got around to an install attempt today, using the 32bit beta1 pendrive image.
Installed to my 64Gb SSD OK.
I used 'Custom' to create a 9000Mb slice. Then installed to that, went quite smoothly.
Nice work on the new installer.
(Also, a 'thumbs up' to whoever created the new look.)

Just to say GhostBSD 3.5 XFCE is looking good, well done.
( I found a few minor problems, & have created a new topic for them.)

GhostBSD 3.5 feedback
As I'm not skilled enough to send a proper bug report, I'm using this thread to allow for feedback. Having tried 3.5 amd64 Beta1 live pendrive, I am dropped to a terminal as X doesn't start. The problem appears to be a missing library, /usr/local/libharfbuzz.so.0 Running 3.5 i386 Beta1 live pendrive...
