Re: My 2 Cents on GhostBSD after a couple of Weeks
Hi, ... as much as I like Xfce, the best window manager of all time is Echinus. JWM is another all time favorite, however, it lacks the drag and drop feature to be a complete desktop. Re: GhostBSD4.0-RC1
Hi, I would suggest that on your next release, that all the default software be compiled, to promote a more rewarding user experience.
In other words, all the default apps will open up much faster.

Re: Linux Flash/ USB Formatter for default
True. However, I was more interested in the results. A lot of uninformed fans or developers named open source tools after Linux. Linux didn't give birth to open source tools nor unix. So much for the worship for an operating system ..... If you have a similar tool that's OK, too. I think the project...

usb2format/ USB Formatter for default
Another useful utility that would be good to add as a native operating system package.

Re: Wine or Play on Linux for default
Hi, you may have to go with Play on Linux for your AMD edition.
If Longene can be ported, that might be better.

Re: GhostBSD4.0-RC1
The biggest gripe I have with this release is that installing packages by commands no longer seems to work.

Re: Ghostbsd is Really Good, Forum Search, bxpkg deprecated?
Hi, Eric, you helped with the overall picture. Pkgng is clearly the wise choice. I traveled around the forum a bit. There isn't any hurdle to receive any requested software. I realized that simplicity isn't a bad thing. Functionality is paramount. GhostBSD is a mature design. It is sensible not to c...
