Thanks Eric, that did it for me too.
Pysolfc now installed and set up how I like it, ready for me to waste more time playing Shisen Sho.
Will now investigate the programs on the menus, & let you know if I find anything else.

Posting from 64 bit .img live, on my HP G62 laptop, looking good & very promising.
N.B. Not keen on the startup sound, it goes on for a bit too long.
