Reddit is not dead. It is not the primary communication. Telegram and Matrix are the communication tools in use. For Telegram on ghostbsd, you will need to install telegram-desktop, and for Matrix, I use nheko. The IRC link will not work if you do not have an IRC client in your system.

You are running XFCE. In that case, noting I have might apply.

When XFCE is not mentioned, I assume that it is MATE.

My bad I just looked back and it is under Sound & Video.

You will need to go to the Sound Preferences and set the Sound theme to default.

The detection on GhostBSD is not fully automatic like Ubuntu But with the Printer Setting it should get you going if the proper driver are installed.
