I was able to boot on mi iMac, all the installation I did broke Mac OSX partition an I have to reinstall. MacOX and Never been able to have successful installation. But I never add problem booting it.

Once you understand pkgng, it becomes easy to fix pkg problem. I am trying to do GUI for pkgng that will will exploit pkgng at is best.

You might need to force some packages to reinstall, like cups by using pkg install -f cups, GhostBSD 10.1 is using the latest repos which it is bleeding edge and problem are bound to happen.

Yea you got the Gnome desktop I had the same problem after an update. On what I have seen it look like GDM default back to Gnome.

In the GDM login screen you can chose the MATE Desktop there is an icon that you can click on to chose the desktop you want to use.

It will update to 10.2 p#.
