Re: Better Every Time
GhostBSD is gradually refining the BSD experience closer and closer to that of some of the best Linux distros. That makes it easier to migrate over to BSD. I've tried Free and Open and Dragon etc. When I landed on Ghost I had troubles as stated in my first post, but I could sense that there is some...

Re: Better Every Time
GhostBSD has really improved and is now absolutly competitive with Easy-to-use Linux Distros.
Technical quality is above Linux in some points! (Video/Audio)

IntelHD300/GT710 Optimus
installed GhostBSD 20.11.28 on Sandy Bridge i3 Laptop with Optimus Graphics. GhostBSD updated the NVIDIA drivers when doing upgrades but there is no NVIDIA-settings where I can switch graphics. What to do?

My first impressions
Latest release is very clean, fast and polished. No issues until now and I only had to correct language (again) after fresh install/add new user. EDIT: Yeeahh, finally I can automount my usb sticks and hdd like I am used for many years on mac or ubuntu. Thanks! (Always needed command-line for mounti...

Create USB Stick on Mac
I suggest to use "rdisk2" instead of "disk2" as it is mentioned because, it is far faster! (macOS Sierra and later). sudo dd if=GhostBSD-20.11.28.iso of=/dev/rdisk2 bs=10240 With the command posted on GhostBSD Page it took so long that I aborted every time. (See this page for exp...

NVIDIA Switchable / Primus working?
Hello,
I have a Notebook with Intel/NVIDIA 1050 GTX switchable Graphics. It works with Ubuntu like a charm. Is there a chance to get NVIDIA Graphics working on current GhostBSD without spending much time to configure it?

Re: DVD Drive does not work
Hello again,
on my Thinkpad where I did a fresh and clean install of GhostBSD 20.04 it still does not work. I still get the same error as in my second post, after the automount upgrade. My automount Version is 1.7.3 there.
