There is a bug with installing Nvidia drivers at boot. I should have a fix for that soon.

If a package is not available on https://www.freshports.org, that means that the port has not been built. This can be due to several issues: The maintainer does not keep up with the latest changes. Some dependencies can be broken. Some dependencies got updated, and the current port does not support ...

The OS will be updated in January. 24.01.1 will be the next version. Only packages will be updated by then.

That is odd. Update Station only upgrades packages. It does not deal with the bios or disk partitions.

Do you know if your drive is still healthy?

The best way to reproduce this would be to do pkg upgrade -f. If upgrades affect /etc/passwd it should be reproduced with that command.
