Keyboard issue
Hello, GhostBSD 10.3 BETA1 XFCE 64-bit. How can I install the French keyboard and keep it enabled ? Each time I boot, reboot or log out and log in, the French keyboard that is installed switches to English. Moreover, the "fr" that could be seen during the session in the systray switches to...

Re: No media player running
Ok, strange. No active firewall, access to the network shared files without problems, but no possibility to use any media player or even any picture viewer (by cons, viewing pictures through the network works perfectly with Gimp or LibreOffice). Moreover, large regression issue with GhostBSD 10.3 BE...

Re: No media player running
Hi,
I come back to this thread and I ask the question differently: is there a firewall enabled by default, and if so, how to disable it ?
Thanks.

Re: No media player running
Here is the message I have by launching VLC from a terminal : Votre média d'entrée ne peut être ouvert: VLC ne peut pas ouvrir « mafreebox.freebox.fr ». Vérifiez les messages pour plus de détails. I misspoke. What I mean is that I have access without problem to the files shared on my network, for ex...

No media player running
Hi everybody,
GhostBSD 10.3 ALPHA2 XFCE 64-bit.
I'm unable to run any multimedia player, whether UMPlayer, SMPlayer, GNOME Mplayer or even VLC.
What's wrong ? A firewall that interferes ?

Re: GhostBSD 10.3 ALPHA2 XFCE 64-bit
Incredible : the sound is there, very low, too low, but it is there.
Don't ask how I got there, I don't know. By dint of playing with Audio Mixer and PulseAudio, it ended up out of the speakers.
Hope it lasts.
If someone could explain to me, he does not hesitate...

[Solved] No access to the display manager
Hi, After installing ghostbsd 10.3 Enoch ALPHA2 XFCE 64-bit, no login problem, except of course to enter the password because of the keyboard that remains in US (classical and recurring problem). But after a few reboots, no more access to the display manager --> have to manually type the username an...
