You could see if RC2 will work, now available - however, the dvd did not boot on my laptop. (I am in the process of reporting this.)

I notice that the BoardName & BusID are commented out, have you tried uncommenting them to see what happens?

Welcome to GhostBSD. There is no bxpkg any more, but a replacement is being worked on, to work with the FreeBSD new pkg system. For the moment I think it is CLI only for pkg management. With luck, there will be a GUI for working with pkg in GhostBSD4.0 when it gets released. Meanwhile RC1 is proving...

Xfburn runs OK using sudo. Cheese now works, (I can see my ugly mug ) - perhaps a script to add the neccessary lines to those two files.

SpiderOak updated - now asks for account setup details - as I haven't a clue what it is, I left it at that - so it is now upgraded & working.
Will check Xfburn as root, & after rebooting will see if Cheese works.
